Diwali, the festival of light
On Tuesday 28th October 2008, the Hindu faith was studied and celebrated by the junior classes. They dressed up and learnt about the Diwali Festival tradition.
Brookham marks Armistice Day 2008
On the 11th hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month we mark the 90th anniversary of the ending of WWI with a special POPPY assembly.
Fire safety is paramount during Halloween and Fireworks season
Halloween and fireworks are fun to watch. A visit from the West Sussex fire department remind us how to have fun and stay safe. We also dressed up and enjoyed spooky, firework themed lessons. Oh, and even the teachers got dressed up in their wizardry best. Hocus Pocus!
Brooking cares during Environment Week
REuse, REduce & REcycle! Brookham celebrated caring for our environment with Environment Week from Monday 13th October 2008 to Friday 17th October 2008. Fun, games and concerts made the educational week extraordinary.
Brookham tours the recycling bus
The children received a special visit from the West Sussex Recycling Bus on Wednesday 8th September. Class by class, the children toured the bus browsing the displays and playing educational games. The children learnt the significance of how to REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE.
